Custom Team Uniforms for Yellowknife and the Northwest Territories

Gallian Sports, a custom teamwear supplier in Ellicott City, Maryland, ships uniforms and team jackets to the Northwest Territories, including Yellowknife, Hay River, Inuvik, Fort Smith, Behchoko and fly-in communities. Each order starts with a free mockup within 24 hours. The minimum is 10 pieces per design, and the quote lists GST, shipping, any duties and a delivery estimate so you can plan around northern transit before paying.

How do NWT teams order when the season and the road are both long?

In the Northwest Territories, school gyms and arenas carry much of the sporting year. Volleyball and basketball are among the most popular school and community sports in Yellowknife, Hay River and Inuvik, and our volleyball uniforms and basketball sets are common orders. Hockey runs through the long winter, and hockey jerseys start at $45.99 (≈ CA$64.85) with names and numbers included.

Many communities are connected by seasonal winter roads, ferries or air only, which affects delivery. We confirm a delivery estimate on the quote, and teams in smaller communities should order earlier than they would in Yellowknife. Teams preparing for multi-sport events such as the Arctic Winter Games often add jackets or hoodies with the territory's colours. In summer, soccer and slo-pitch fill the long daylight evenings. Francophone families in Yellowknife and Hay River can send names with French accents, and they print exactly.

When should Northwest Territories teams order?

• Volleyball and basketball: School volleyball starts in the fall and basketball follows in winter. Request mockups at the start of the school year.
• Hockey: Ice is in by fall in most communities. Approve designs in July to leave time for northern shipping.
• Event and travel wear: For a winter games or tournament trip, order jackets two to three months ahead.
• Soccer: The outdoor season is short. Send your soccer order by March for a June start.

Allow about 3–4 weeks from approval to delivery, plus a few days to collect sizes. Our timeline guide walks through each step.
