Cycling jerseys fit closer than casual shirts so they do not flap at speed. Measure chest and waist, and if a rider sits between sizes, choose based on how they ride, more upright or more stretched out.

Bibs and cold-weather layers

Custom Cycling Bib Shorts start at $28.07. Check torso length as well as waist, since straps that are too short pull on the shoulders. For cool mornings, a gilet or wind vest is the easiest layer to add. Custom Cycling Gilets & Wind Vests start at $31.97 and fold small enough to fit in a jersey pocket. Racing and event guidance

Riders entering events sanctioned by USA Cycling or Cycling Canada should check rules on team clothing. Riders from the same club or team are often expected to wear matching kit. Race numbers are usually pinned on the lower back or side, so keep key sponsor logos clear of those areas. Read the current rules for your event category before approving artwork. Club names, rider names and sponsor logos are included in the sublimated price.

Order timing and care

Order club kit in January or February so it arrives before spring group rides start. Delivery is about 3 to 4 weeks after mockup approval, or 2 weeks on rush. Wash kit inside out in cold water with zips closed. Skip fabric softener, which can affect stretch and moisture wicking. Hang to dry away from direct heat. Custom kit cannot be returned for a change of mind, so confirm sizes first.
