How big are high school and youth sports in Georgia?

Friday night football draws huge crowds in Georgia, from suburban Atlanta stadiums to small-town fields in South Georgia, and college football Saturdays in Athens and Atlanta keep the passion going. High school athletics are run by the Georgia High School Association (GHSA), one of the first state associations to add girls flag football, so many schools now buy flag football uniforms alongside their football uniforms.

Metro Atlanta also has a very active youth baseball and softball scene, with travel teams playing big complexes most weekends from February into July, so baseball uniforms and caps are steady orders. Soccer is a spring high school sport here, and Atlanta's pro soccer club has helped club numbers climb. Georgia's long, hot summers favor breathable sublimated fabrics, while mild winters mean hoodies and light jackets cover most cold-weather needs. Basketball rounds out the winter, with AAU programs around Atlanta ordering reversibles and shooter shirts for travel weekends.
