Custom Soccer Uniforms: 2026 Buying Guide & Prices

Why soccer teams are re-kitting this year

The 2026 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico, brought matches to cities from Toronto and Vancouver to New York, Philadelphia and Kansas City. Clubs across North America expected a lift in youth registrations off the back of it, and plenty of programs are using the momentum to refresh their kits, add new age groups or start girls and adult teams.

What's in a soccer uniform?

• Jersey. Short or long sleeve, with crest, sponsor, name and number.
• Shorts. Usually a solid color with a small number on the leg.
• Socks. Knee-high, matched to the kit; many leagues require socks to cover shin guards.
• Goalkeeper kit. A different color from both teams and the referee. See our goalkeeper jerseys.
• Away kit. Leagues increasingly require a second color to avoid clashes.
• Training wear. Training bibs, warm-ups and tracksuits.

Custom soccer uniform prices

Prices are per piece in USD; Canadian teams see approximate CAD on every product page. Names, numbers, crests and sponsor logos are included on sublimated items with no setup fee.

Fabric and fit

Gallian soccer jerseys use 100% polyester interlock at 140–160 GSM: light, quick-drying and colourfast. Sublimation dyes the design into the fibres, so a sponsor logo looks the same in game 30 as it did in game 1. Choose an athletic fit for competitive players and a regular fit for rec and adult teams. Youth sizes run YS–YXL and adult XS–3XL; see the sizing guide.

Sponsors and crests

Sponsors often cover most of a youth club's kit costs. Because sublimated printing has no per-color setup fee, you can place a main sponsor on the chest, a secondary sponsor on the sleeve and a back-of-neck sponsor without changing the price. Send logos as vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) for the sharpest result; a clear PNG works too. Compare decoration methods in sublimation vs screen printing vs tackle twill.

Budget example: a 16-player U12 team

• 16 home & away packages at $75.95 = $1,215.20
• 2 goalkeeper jerseys at $31.99 = $63.98
• Total: about $1,279, or roughly $80 per player for two full kits

A club ordering the same package for 60 players pays about $64.56 each at the 50–99 tier.

Choosing colors that work

Pick a primary color that no other team in your league wears, then a clearly different away color — light versus dark is the simplest rule. Goalkeepers need a third color that clashes with neither kit nor the referee's shirt (lime, orange and pink are popular because officials rarely wear them). Keep numbers in high contrast: white on dark or black on light. Gradients and patterns cost nothing extra with sublimation, but referees still need to read a number from 30 yards away.

Adult, women's and futsal teams

Adult rec and Sunday-league teams usually want a relaxed regular fit and sometimes a long-sleeve option for cold evenings. Women's fits are available on most soccer jerseys, and futsal teams often order an extra set of numbered bibs for rolling substitutions. Everything can be mixed into one order as long as each design reaches 10 pieces.

Common mistakes to avoid

• Approving before checking every name. Read the roster against the mockup letter by letter; reprints for spelling errors aren't covered as defects.
• Forgetting the keeper. Order at least two goalkeeper jerseys per team so a sub keeper is covered.
• Duplicate numbers. Leagues usually require unique numbers per roster, including the goalkeeper.
• No spares. Add one or two blank-name jerseys for players who join mid-season.
• Ordering too late. Build in a buffer of a week or two before your first match.

When to order

Allow 24 hours for the mockup, a few days for sizes, then about 3–4 weeks after approval (around 2 weeks on rush). For spring seasons, order in January or February; for fall, in June or early July. Read how to order custom team uniforms for the full checklist.
