Custom Team Uniforms for Maine, From Portland to Aroostook

Maine teams spend much of the year in the cold, so their orders often include hoodies and jackets alongside game uniforms. Gallian Sports ships custom uniforms from Ellicott City, Maryland to schools and clubs in Portland, Lewiston, Bangor, South Portland and Auburn. Hockey jerseys, basketball sets, soccer kits and varsity jackets are common requests, each with a free mockup within 24 hours and a minimum of 10 pieces per design.

How do long winters shape Maine's team sports?

Winter is the main event in Maine. High school basketball tournaments run by the Maine Principals' Association (MPA) draw big crowds every February, and small towns follow their teams closely, sometimes traveling hours for a tournament game. Hockey is popular on indoor and outdoor rinks alike, with youth programs and high school teams ordering jerseys and socks each fall. Many Maine towns are small enough that the same athletes play three sports, so families value gear that holds up across seasons.

Soccer and football share a short fall season that starts in late summer and can end in frosty November conditions, so soccer kits and team hoodies are usually ordered together. Spring arrives late, which means baseball and softball often begin in April with cold, muddy practices. Because of the climate, teams commonly add puffer jackets, tracksuits or varsity jackets to their orders, and seniors like a letter jacket that will last through several Maine winters.
