Kansas Custom Team Uniforms for Big Schools and Small Towns

Kansas schools range from large suburban districts around Overland Park and Olathe to small towns where everyone plays three sports. Gallian Sports ships custom uniforms from Ellicott City, Maryland to all of them, including Wichita, Kansas City, Topeka and Lawrence. Football, basketball, baseball, softball and soccer uniforms are the usual orders, and because the minimum is 10 pieces per design, even a small 8-man football roster qualifies.

What role does basketball play in Kansas sports?

Basketball has deep roots here: James Naismith, the game's inventor, coached at the University of Kansas, and Lawrence is still a basketball town. High school sports are governed by the Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA), and gyms across the state fill up every winter. Teams often order basketball uniforms with matching shooter shirts for warm-ups. Wichita and the Kansas City suburbs also host busy youth leagues, where reversible practice jerseys are a popular second order.

Football is played at every level, including 8-man football at many smaller rural schools, so rosters can be small while the community support is big. Football uniforms are typically ordered in spring. Baseball and softball fill the spring, and soccer clubs around Kansas City and Wichita order kits throughout the year. Prairie wind and wide temperature swings mean hoodies, rain jackets and varsity jackets get plenty of use. Winter can bring biting cold to outdoor events, so some programs add puffer jackets for coaches and bench players.
