About custom bjj gis with your academy branding
Gallian custom BJJ gis are academy-branded jiu jitsu uniforms with a 450 GSM pearl weave cotton jacket and 10 oz ripstop pants, starting at $65 per gi for 100 or more and with a 10-gi minimum per design. Embroidery, woven patches and contrast panels let your academy own the look from lapel to cuff.
Gi pricing is $95 for 10 to 24, $85 for 25 to 49, $75 for 50 to 99 and $65 for 100 and above. Using a 1.41 reference rate, Canadian academies can expect roughly CAD 92 to CAD 134 per gi. These are tentative starting prices, and heavier weaves or extra embroidery can change the final figure.
The standard jacket is pre-shrunk 450 GSM pearl weave cotton, which balances durability and comfort for daily classes. The pants are 10 oz ripstop with a rope drawstring, and stress points are reinforced so they survive years of drilling. For summer camps, travel or hot rooms in Florida or Texas, consider the 350 GSM pearl weave. Competitors who want a dense, hard-to-grip jacket can choose 550 GSM at roughly a 15 percent premium, and a gold weave is also available.
Branding is where a custom gi earns its price. Most academies put an embroidered logo on the back yoke, a woven patch on the shoulders or chest, and the academy name down the pant leg. Contrast stitching and coloured sleeve or knee panels, like those on our Circuit or Topo gis, give the team a recognisable silhouette on the mat.
Competition rules deserve attention before you finalise a design. IBJJF events require a solid white, blue or black gi, so contrast panels and camo patterns are best kept for training and open tournaments. If your students compete under those rules, we can make a solid version of any design on request, so check your event's uniform rules first.
Sizing covers adult A0 to A5, women's F1 to F4 and youth M000 to M4, which makes it practical to outfit the whole academy, from the little grapplers program to the competition team, in a single order. Send your logo and preferred colour, and a no-cost mockup comes back within one day.
