Product description: Ember Hockey Referee Jersey – Black/White/Red
Ember sticks to the traditional 2-inch black and white stripes and half-zip collar, then adds restrained vermilion red and warm silver accents at the collar trim, shoulder piping and cuffs. Graphite black panels keep the look grounded. The result is unmistakably a referee jersey, with a touch of identity that ties the crew to the league.
Adult rec leagues, beer leagues and rink-run programs in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Ontario often hire or train their own officials. A league-supplied jersey means refs look consistent every night, even when the roster of officials changes week to week. Put the league logo on the sleeve and keep a bag of spares at the rink. Leagues should still check their insurer's or sanctioning body's uniform expectations before approving.
Supplying refs for a rec league
Rec leagues that pay officials per game often supply the jersey and keep a set at the rink office. Order 30 or more in a spread of adult sizes from XS to 5XL, with the league logo on the sleeve and no names, so any ref can grab one. If you want accountability, print a small number on the back or sleeve to track who has which jersey. Delivery is about three to four weeks after mockup approval, and payment is 100% upfront.
Durability for nightly use
League refs wear the jersey several nights a week, often over elbow pads and padded shirts. The snag-resistant 180 GSM polyester interlock resists catching on sticks, and the mesh underarms help with the heat of back-to-back games. The armband loop keeps referee armbands from sliding down the sleeve. Wash cold and hang dry, and keep spares in rotation so no single jersey takes all the wear. Defects reported within 14 days of delivery, with photos, are covered by a credit note or return.
