Eight styles, forty designs, one 10-piece minimum
Most suppliers call everything a "varsity jacket". In practice a school buying letter jackets for senior athletes, a university club ordering chapter outerwear and a reseller quoting a corporate team are all buying different garments. For 2027 we split the range into eight distinct styles so you can match the fabric to the job rather than to the catalogue photo.
Every style carries the same terms: ten pieces per design, sizes mixed freely from youth YS to adult 3XL, chenille letters and embroidery in the price with no setup fee, a free design mockup inside 24 hours, and production in three to four weeks with a rush option near two.
2027 prices against Branded Originals
Branded Originals is the closest comparable US supplier that publishes prices, so it is the fairest benchmark. These are per-jacket prices, ours at 10–24 pieces and at 100+, against their published rate:

Which style suits which buyer
High school athletic departments usually want the cowhide-sleeve letterman or the cotton fleece. A letter jacket has to survive four seasons of added bars, sport inserts and pins, so a dense melton body matters more than a low price. Ridgeline is the traditional build; Timberline does the same job for about half the money.
Colleges, universities and Greek chapters tend to go for satin or full sublimation, where the whole surface can carry chapter colours, anniversary artwork or a sponsor block. Hydro prints seam to seam with no per-colour charge, which is why it beats screen print on complex artwork.
Clubs, leagues and corporate teams usually land on the flight bomber or the faux leather. Both shrug off weather better than wool, and the faux leather is animal-free, which matters for a growing number of schools and councils.
Wholesalers and uniform dealers take any of the eight blank or decorated, with your own woven label sewn in place of ours at no extra charge. The 10-piece minimum per design is the point here: it lets a dealer carry eight styles without holding stock.
What actually drives the price
Fabric is the biggest single factor. Genuine cowhide sleeves roughly double the cost of a jacket against cotton fleece, and a melton wool-blend body sits between the two. After that it is decoration volume — a chenille letter with three sleeve bars and four pins is a lot more handwork than a single embroidered crest — and then quantity. The jump from 24 to 100 pieces takes about 22% off the per-jacket price across every style.
What does not change the price: colour count, sponsor logos, player names and numbers, or mixing youth and adult sizes inside the same order. Those are included.
Order early for graduation and letter nights
Letter jackets are seasonal and the queue is real. If a letter ceremony is in May, artwork should be approved by late March. For autumn sports, approve in July. The three-to-four week production window is from mockup approval, not from first enquiry, and roster collection is usually what adds the extra fortnight.
