## How does BC's wet coast and lacrosse tradition shape uniform orders?

British Columbia is one of the strongholds of box lacrosse. Communities such as New Westminster, Coquitlam and Victoria have played the indoor game for well over a century, and spring and summer floors across the Lower Mainland are full of minor and junior teams. Our [lacrosse uniforms](https://galliansportswear.com/sports/lacrosse.html) include shooter shirts from $25.99 (≈ CA$36.65) and reversible pinnies, all with names and numbers sublimated.
Coastal weather changes the calendar for other sports too. Youth soccer on the coast largely plays through fall and winter rain, so clubs in Vancouver, Surrey and Victoria often order [soccer kits](https://galliansportswear.com/sports/soccer.html) in early summer and add training bibs or rain jackets. In the Interior, from Kelowna to Kamloops and Prince George, winters are colder and hockey dominates. High school teams follow BC School Sports seasons, with basketball especially popular in winter. Vancouver-area teams can also read our [Vancouver page](https://galliansportswear.com/locations/vancouver.html).

## British Columbia season calendar: when to order uniforms

- **Box lacrosse:** Minor box lacrosse in BC typically runs from April into the summer. Lock in your design by February so jerseys are on hand for the first floor sessions.

- **Soccer:** Coastal youth soccer generally plays September to March. Order kits in June or July and confirm sizes as soon as team selections are done.

- **Hockey:** Hockey seasons start in September across the province. Interior and northern teams should send rosters early in summer to allow extra transit time.

- **School basketball:** BC high school basketball is a winter sport. Request a mockup in September so reversible jerseys arrive before the first tournaments.

## Example order: a 15-player U15 box lacrosse team in Coquitlam

- 15 × [Lacrosse Shooter Shirts](https://galliansportswear.com/shop/lacrosse-2.html) at $25.99 = **$389.85** (≈ CA$549.69)

- 15 × [Lacrosse Shorts with Side Pockets](https://galliansportswear.com/shop/lacrosse-1.html) at $20.99 = **$314.85** (≈ CA$443.94)

- Uniform subtotal: **$704.70** (≈ CA$993.63), or about $46.98 per player, before shipping, duties and taxes. Names, numbers and logos included.
